Deepti D’Cunha

India Consultant

Deepti D’Cunha is a Film Programmer, based in Mumbai, India, specializing in Contemporary Indian Cinema. Deepti sources and curates films for the Viewing Room section, Work-in-progress lab and Film Bazaar Recommends section, for NFDC Film Bazaar. Her motivation to seek fresh talent and new films, exhibiting and showcasing Indian cinema across the globe, stems from her deep commitment towards independent India cinema. She is well connected to independent Indian filmmakers and maintains an extensive database of contemporary Indian films.

She has been a programmer for the 17th and 18th International Children’s Film Festival of India by the Children’s Film Society of India (CFSI) and well as for Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival. She also sources  Indian films for International Film Festivals and is currently the India Consultant to Marco Mueller, Artistic director of Rome Film Festival.

Amy Kronish

Israeli Film Curator

Amy Kronish works as a consultant in the field of Jewish and Israeli films and is leading expert on the subject. She lectures and writes widely on films and is the author of two books on Israeli film – World Cinema: Israel (1996) and Israeli Film – A Reference Guide(2003). Born and bred in the United States, she has an M.A. in Communications from N.Y.U. (1973), and has lived in Jerusalem since 1979.  She served for 15 years as the Curator of Jewish and Israeli Films at the Jerusalem Cinematheque.

Ketki Parikh

Senior Programmer

Ketki studied at the prestigious Darpana Academy in Ahmadabad, India. There she became intimately engaged in both the performance and theories of artistic expression through dance and drama. After moving to the United States, she founded, Vachikam and was instrumental in bringing acclaimed Indian theatrical plays to the U.S. including the recent Shabana Azmi play Broken Images and Girish Karnad’s :The Wedding Album. Additionally, Ketki, is a strong and active supporter of the Indian community and serves on the board of Apna Ghar, a domestic violence shelter in Chicago serving Asian women and children. Ketki is an integral part of i2F2, not just in her capacity as a co- founder but also as a programmer.

From an early age, Zohra was fascinated by what makes things tick, and, in what is sometimes considered an odd mix of characteristics, she displayed a talent for and loved to perform.

Today, this seemingly odd combination of gifts has rendered Zohra as comfortable behind the camera as she is in front, and has taken this multi-faceted Renaissance woman from model to an all-encompassing career as actor, director, co-writer and producer of numerous films, commercials and TV/radio projects, and to establishing her own production company Pound of Flesh Productions.

Grishma Shah is a mass-media consultant. She works with film, radio and television because each of these forums have the power to create beauty while it organically connects people from various parts of the world.
